Our Summer Vacation

Wow, what a vacation! We made it down to Oklahoma just in time to join the Scharrer and Huber families for a wonderful weekend filled with lots of family time and a beautiful wedding. Erik's brother, Brandon, got married on Saturday. It was an outdoor wedding and sitting in the 104 degree weather seemed quite extreme at the time, however was much worth it. We were all happy to see Karlie and Brandon finally tie the knot. They are now enjoying themselves in Jamaica for a week (lucky ducks!). Erik and I continued on from Oklahoma with my parents to Colorado where we've been staying with my brother Tony for the past couple days. Yesterday we went to the Air Force Academy and a semi-pro baseball game. Today we are hitting up my brother's college for a tour and then going to visit some local natural springs. Erik and I might also stop by a fossil garden. Tomorrow we are going to see the Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak, then heading up to Denver to visit with some friends. Friday we are leaving for the Black Hills. We will update again when we get home next week. Maida has been quite the traveler and as perfect as ever!
