It's official....Maida's first TOOTH!!!

During our noon feeding today, Maida all of a sudden took my thumb and put it in her mouth. Not thinking anything of it, I just let her suck on my thumb until, "OUCH!" I felt something sharp! I called Erik into the room immediately and he stuck his finger in there and felt the same thing. It's official, Maida got her first tooth! It's just popping through the lower gums, right in front. It's amazing that we haven't even notice a change in her disposition at all - no crying or fussing at all! We don't have any pictures yet because she sticks out her tongue every time we get close to her mouth and covers up her lower gums. We'll be sure to post pictures when we get them, though...maybe when she's asleep!
