Maida's First Swim

Grandma and Grandpa Scharrer came to visit for the Fourth of July and the weekend to follow. It was so great to see them! For some of the time that they were here, they stayed at the Hilton Hotel downtown, which had a great big swimming pool and hot tub. So we decided to take Maida for her first swim in the big pool. We got her a bathing suit from one of Erik's co-workers and a towel from Mema, which said her name, so we were all set for the pool! The water was very cold and hard to get used to, so we didn't stay in for very long. Maida seemed to like it, but I think if the water was a little warmer, she would have enjoyed it more.
